CREATIVE ARTS PASTOR |
Hi, my name is Kay-Marie I am British but moved to join Immanuel in September 2018. I oversee the music and arts ministries here at Immanuel.
Worship is an attitude of the heart and can take different forms and expressions. One key way we like to worship here at Immanuel is through song. Colossians 3:16 says “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.” As we sing together we become deeply rooted in the truths of Christ. We believe that singing is vital to deepening and growing our faith in Jesus Christ, yet we also see this is just one part. Just as God is creative, and being in His likeness makes us creative, we seek to worship Him through the visual elements of our service as well. If you are interested in serving on our worship or creative arts team send me a message, I would love to hear from you. |
During the COVID-19 pandemic we experienced a crippled Christmas last year. Yet we didn't let that stop us from worshipping God, instead we used the opportunity to step into something new and trialled our very first virtual choir!
