Try this fantastic recipe. Here's a note from our challenger this week: Hi my name is Emily Booy. We are using a recipe from my baking book for this week's baking challenge. This week's recipe is called Emily's Cookie Bars. You can make them with Smarties or M&M's or Reese's Pieces, but Reese's Pieces are my favourite. It's the time of year for rhubarb, so this week's recipe is for a rhubarb crisp! I love the simple flexibility of this recipe; you can use all rhubarb, or a mix of rhubarb and other fruits, like apple or strawberries. Or if you don't have any rhubarb handy, just make a good old apple crisp! Happy baking!

Start with your basic biscuit recipe and see where you end up! Try adding some cheese, or some fresh herbs! Maybe some raisins? You could add them to a stew to make dumplings! Or make them plain and drizzle them right out of the oven with jam or honey.
